MAME

Every six months or so another article gets posted on Slashdot about MAME systems. I've always thought it would be cool to have 1 or 2 of the original video game machines that I wasted many hours and quarters playing as a youth. Dig Dug, Galaxian, Galaga, Centipede, Karnov, Spyhunter, and a host of other games I've long forgotten the name of. While cool, having a single game system takes up a huge amount of space and is it really necessary? My living room is already overrun w/ my Cyclone foosball table, perhaps one day when I have a larger house and money to waste it would be fun to have an arcade machine.

Anyway, a local Kirkland outfit posts
cabinet building plans
, and has recently created a company: Game Cabinets, Inc.

Another custom MAME cabinet built from an old Millipede cabinet.
